Join us for an enchanting evening of art, culture, and cuisine as we celebrate Black History Month with a special event: Field of Light & Dinner.

ASMALLWORLD invites members and their guests to join Sunny Cervantes for an evening with the Field of Light by Bruce Munro followed by a dinner at Angeletto.

Field of Light is an outdoor experience by artist Bruce Munro, featuring 18,750 lowlights, and fibre-optic stemmed spheres. The visit is from 8 pm - 8:30 pm. Attendees are required to stay on the designated path. Roaming the field or touching the lights is not permitted. Please note: It is a 10-minute walk (5 miles or about 5 blocks) from the Field of Light location to Voila Afrique. ASW will meet at the entrance to the field which is on East 41st Street.

The Dinner will be at Angeletto from 9 pm onward.

Important Information
  • There is no rain or snow date scheduled. In case of inclement weather, the Field of Light experience will be cancelled. The dinner will continue or be rescheduled.
  • Photography and video recording at Field of Light using handheld cameras are permitted. 
  • Professional cameras, video or recording equipment that is not hand-held, selfie sticks, monopods, and tripods are not allowed at Field of Light.
  • Any commercial use, reproduction, or sale, directly or online, of any images of Field of Light is strictly prohibited
